School
Oh boy!! What an amazing situation I have going on! 10 kids in 2nd grade, 11 kids in 7th grade and 12 kids in 8th grade. How does that sound? Like a dream? YES it SURE is! We have been able to dive right into our curriculum without any huge behavioral issues. My students are so great--I feel like I'm getting the best of both worlds!! My co-workers are more than helpful and I cannot believe the amount of resources support available for our students here. Judaism a very interesting religion and the kids are very serious about practicing. I can't even find one thing wrong with my job...I wake up--still groggy (I can't get over it..I don't think I'll ever be a morning person) but I LOVE coming to school! I am so excited to be doing something that I love--I hope that never fades :)
Work
Brian has a PACKED schedule!! He is delivering at Lowe's, Interning at 98rock/105.5 The Bridge...AND NOW.....He has a job at 94.3 WSC at Clear Channel! Phenomenal! He has reached his goal! Doing what he loves and what he has a degree in!!! I am just incredibly impressed and proud of him!! Things just keep moving on the up and up, and I just hope it keeps on going! Brian's goal is to have the 3 paying part time jobs...WOW! He has some intense goals! I cannot even think about having 3 part time jobs...that's more than one full time job!! All the power to him :)
Transition
It is TIME TIME TIME to LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE our janky apartment. Okay, it's not really that bad...but our rent is increasing and I do not have the mind to keep THROWING away my money! So....
WE BOUGHT A TOWNHOUSE!!!!!!!!
It is 30 minutes away from where we currently live, but we will be living in Charleston, SC...not Mount Pleasant, SC.
It's called Bolton's Landing (sub division) off of HWY 17 and Bee's Ferry (if you'd like to Google). Here is the model home...
It will look exactly like the hunter green model. It is in the style of the tall homes in down town Charleston. 3 levels, 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms...WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH 4 BATHROOMS?? I can't get over that!!!
We are thrilled--move-in date has been extended to the middle of November (that's a WHOLE other story...) and then we'll move in! We picked out black granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, wood floors, tiled bathrooms...oh boy OH BOY WE ARE SO EXCITED! I can't even begin to tell you!

Other than that, we're still trying to find some down time to be together and spend some quality time. We go to the Kickin' Chicken every Tuesday for "NAME THAT TUNE TRIVIA" it is SO fun! Last night, we got our butts royally KICKED, but still managed to pull 3rd place! We've one 2 third places and 1 first place! Kickin' Chicken gift certificates each time!
